Sully rinde honores a su mejor amigo en la Rotonda del Capitolio

El animal fue entrenado para asistir al expresidente Bush y lo acompañó desde mediados de año cuando murió su esposa Barbara. Sully es considerado por los Bush un miembro más de la familia, los acompañó desde Houston en el vuelo en el avión presidencial que llevó el cuerpo del expresidente a la capital y fue llevado, como otros de los miles de visitantes que rindieron honores al expresidente, al Capitolio donde está el féretro del mandatario.

Sully, quien tiene su propia cuenta de Instagram, fue recomendado a Bush por America’s VetDogs, una organización sin fines de lucro que desde 2003 se ha encargado de entrenar a estos animales. Tras una temporada de vacaciones el perro será reasignado al programa canino de un centro médico que atiende a soldados heridos.
