Orphan teen wants to rent a family for her birthday

When Natalie aged out of foster care she was left out in the world by herself. The now 19 year old mentions how birthdays are very painful for her as she’s never had a family to live those moments with.

When she was a baby a family adopted and abused her - by the age of 12 she was back in foster care. Natalie, who is now a college student -majoring in computer science- used an online website to post an ad where she is willing to rent a family for just one day. With the money she has saved from working she plans on spending it on something, she'll always cherish in her heart.

If she had one wish

Throughout her life she’s wondered what it would be like to spend her birthday or even a holiday within a family; something most people take for granted.

There are so many children given up for adoption every year. Most of which never experience the blessing and joy of living a life surrounded by family and love. There are a variety of birth control methods for women that could aid in pregnancy prevention. In fact, pregnancies are 100% preventable, it’s all a matter of knowing what the facts are.

Natalie’s birthday is in June – and although her story is touching it is very real. Someday, she’ll have a family of her own while being the best mom any child could ever hope for.
