Germ freaks!

Being that we touch many things, like a keyboard or the door knob, there is a lot of bacteria in our fingers. As sad and odd as this may sound, not everyone has the same type of hygiene.

There are people who have acne or other skin conditions ―which may not be noticeable― therefore, don't run the risk of having to treat yourself with harsh and somewhat painful chemicals.

Sorry, but I use all of my products

Hidden within makeup brushes, mascara wands and other products are millions of bacteria’s which could potentially hurt your skin. Remember that acne is not the same on everyone. Depending on the type, scarring could happen.

Also, unless you want to deal with conjunctivitis, it is very important to never use or share your makeup with anyone; mascara's are a BIG NO NO!

Prevention

As much as you love your friends and family, sometimes saying things once works best. There are certain products that are personal and makeup falls under this category.

Even if you don’t have your must haves with you, it’s better to wait and prevent than to later have to pay hundreds of dollars on acne medications and perhaps even lasers too.

Listen to mother, she knows what she's talking about!
