Does Cool Sculpting really work?

Liposuction is now a thing of the past thanks to a new method developed in Harvard called, Cool Sculpting. What’s so interesting about this “procedure” is how it doesn’t require any recuperation, being that you can go straight to work afterwards. Also, it's non-invasive and leaves most patients with excellent results.

Never again go under the knife

According to a small publication posted on the official Cool Sculpting site, Harvard scientists noticed how some children who ate popsicles developed dimples.

The idea that cold can selectively affect and eliminate fat cells without damaging the skin or surrounding tissue was the insight behind Cryolipolysis®, the proven science on which the CoolSculpting procedure is based.

This could only mean that fat, in most cases, is permanently removed from the treated area. However, consider that not everyone is a candidate for Cool Sculpting as its use is to contour. Therefore, it is not a weight loss method.

In other words, there are so many women who have lost weight, but still have that stubborn fat that doesn’t seem to go away with anything. A person under these circumstances is an excellent candidate.

Realistic expectations

Another important fact to know before getting Cool Sculpting is its price. Depending on the office and the doctor, the price could range from the high hundreds to the low thousands. The advantage of treating yourself with Cool Sculpting rather than with liposuction is how you are not going to be placed under general anesthesia.

Also, you have no risk of infection and while being treated you could read another one of our articles or even talk on the phone. As weeks go by, you’ll see how fat begins to melt away.
