The death toll from Harvey rises to five. Most streets in the Houston metropolitan area are impassable, creeks are overflowing, and underpasses are flooded. Historic rainfall amounts greater than 20-25 inches have already been reported. The NOAA Weather Prediction Center is now forecasting as much as 50 inches in some areas with rain not expected to subside until Friday.
