El bebé se llama Louis Arthur Charles (Luis Arturo Carlos).

El parto se produjo en el St Mary's Hospital, que se encuentra en Londres, hospital donde también nacieron los otros hijos de la pareja real: Jorge y Charlotte.
La información oficial del Kensington Palace afirmó que toda la familia real, incluida la reina y el hermano de William, el príncipe Harry, están «encantados» con la noticia.
