4 teens led @ArlingtonPD officers on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle this afternoon after a victim left keys in car while running in driveway. We recovered two guns (which ended up being fake) along with drugs. One of the teens previously had been arrested for an aggravated robbery

Officers has responded with their lights and sirens based upon the caller reporting an emergency shooting in progress. Provides a glimpse of what officers face each day.

A student overhead another student saying they had a firearm in a backpack at Lamar High School today. @ArlingtonPD officers located the suspect who is 15-years of age. Replica imitation firearms have no place in our schools... period! We need to bolster our laws on fake guns.
Sep 15The department has released redacted portions of body-worn camera & dash camera footage in reference to Saturday’s Officer-involved shooting. This was the gun that was pointed at officers. It looks as real as it gets. It ended up being a BB gun.

Nov 1- Early this morning around 1:40 am, we received intel from another agency that a suspect wanted for attempted murder out of Louisiana was in our city. Officers saw him leaving a house and made a traffic stop. He was arrested and we recovered a handgun and illegal drugs. Great job!
