Coronavirus cases are rising in more than half of the U.S. states and the daily average of cases nationwide remains high at more the 43,000. Wisconsin saw an explosion of cases over the weekend as New York City also announced new shutdowns.

“At this moment of time transparency is critical … what you have seen over the weekend is a lot of confusion and misinformation … it’s hard to gauge what the president’s true condition is, but the White House really needs to come clean on all of this,” says Chris Lu, a former White House cabinet secretary under President Obama.

“Because of the strong risk of a 'twindemic,' if you get the flu and covid-19 virus at the same time, the potential of a double risk of mortality is there. Getting a flu shot at least eliminates and protects you from the flu this year,” says Dr. Joseph Mosquera, an integrative medical practitioner.

“The president's campaign and his only strategy is to suppress votes … he is signaling to his base to take away the rights of voters in this country by intimidation and by violence, and we not only rejected that, but we are prepared to fight for our votes,” says Jessica Byrd, of Three Point Strategies a political consulting firm.
