Estas son las escuelas públicas que permanecerán cerradas durante este miércoles por la tormenta en el área triestatal

Una nueva tormenta azota desde anoche los estados de Nueva York, Nueva Jersey y Connecticut. El pronóstico indica que caerá entre 1 y 2 pulgadas por hora con variaciones entre las zonas.

La tormenta de este miércoles traerá nieve pesada, inundaciones costeras y fuertes ráfagas de viento que podrían alcanzar hasta las 55 millas por hora, lo que podría ocasionar derribamiento de árboles y afectación en las líneas eléctricas.

Por tal razón, el gobernador de Nueva Jersey, Phil Murphy, ha declarado estado de emergencia y las escuelas públicas permanecerán cerradas mientras pasa la tormenta.

En la Ciudad de Nueva York, el acalde Bill de Blasio, indicó que las escuelas públicas no cerrarán.
