5. Go to bed early
The last thing a new mom wants the day before returning to work – is to feel tired. Baby’s tend to wake up in the middle of the night. That’s why you should go to sleep at least 2 hours before the usual bed time. Doing so, will allow for you to feel more awake while having 'lots of energy. With a new born it may seem difficult, but it’s not impossible.

4. Create a routine
When I was born, my mom created a routine in which she knew by hour exactly what she had to do. Following this routine allowed for my mom to be more efficient with her time while still having time to spend with me.

3. Plan when to pump
If you’re back at work and still pumping milk, create a schedule in which you could comfortably pump. Remember to wear button down blouses or shirts with a super comfortable bra.

2. Create a schedule for the nanny
No one will know your baby like you. Therefore, leave the nanny a schedule that she could follow. Perhaps, your new bundle of joy eats at a certain time or needs a medication at a specific moment.
Leaving the person that is taking care of your baby with a detailed list will help you feel less stressed.

As a professional woman, encourage yourself to succeed because there will be a day in which your baby will see everything you’ve done and accomplished. Also, if you're having a bad day or feel like giving up - think of your baby- this will make you feel like the strong woman you are!
