Emotional stress could really take a toll on people, especially if they have a lot on their plate. Stress comes with many side effects, especially in women (i.e., hair loss, weight gain, acne and lack of sleep.) Even though, stress doesn’t discriminate ― more and more women are experiencing hair loss due to situations that become too much to handle.

How to deal with stress

One time while watching Keeping up with the Kardashians, former Bruce Jenner ―better known as Caitlyn Jenner in the modern world― was taken to a yoga class where the instructor said a very unique phrase, “…where you are is where you are.” At the moment, I couldn’t help but to laugh at what I had just heard.

In reality this phrase is very true and I am sure most of you are going to live your life by it after reading this post. Perhaps, it may be that you’re experiencing a breakup or a divorce. Maybe, your best friend backstabbed you or simply money just doesn’t pay the bills anymore.

As you may have heard, worrying won’t solve anything. Living in the moment will allow for you to come up with ways to solve your problems without breaking your head. Whenever a negative thought arises, let it go and think in that same moment ― that there’s nothing you could do to solve it right then.

Problems and hair loss

Although there are an array of products and treatments to deal with and prevent hair loss, there won’t be much change unless you decide to feel happy. Think of it this way, there will be little improvement by treating the symptoms of hair loss, unless you target the actual problem causing it.

While reading the book The Secret I learned a lot of things which have helped me deal with everyday life situations. As an example, imagine yourself as an antenna ― the frequency that you send out is what you’re telling the universe you want. If you continue to receive negative things, change the frequency. Happiness is a personal option that could forever affect in a positive way, your life.

Thus, if you’re going through a breakup it is completely normal to feel bad for some time. But, don’t allow for this to take a toll on you. Everything has a solution, there’s always a way out; positivity is key. Also, meditate from time to time and learn in more depth what your body likes, what it doesn’t like and how you could deal with life problems without them affecting you.
