Adele: The breakup behind "Someone Like You"

Ever heard a song that you automatically connected with? Millions of people around the world have felt this way about Adele’s music. When she sings the words come from the heart. Perhaps, this is the reason why so many men and women identify themselves with her lyrics.

Adele, a singer and song-writer began to put her bittersweet love ordeals into paper at a very young age. But, as many people wonder, who could've broken her heart in such a way? 

The story behind Someone Like You

Someone like you is a very direct song; it has to do with a woman who was never able to emotionally let go of the man she fell in love with - this is Adele's story. Years after the breakup, out of the blue, she shows up at his doorstep to find out he had a wife, kids and had moved on.

But, what makes this song so profound is the way in which Adele sings, with: irony, sadness and hope.

Even though, she says:

"Never mind, I'll find someone like you  I wish nothing but the best for you, too…”

Ironically, inside of her broken heart she hopes to find someone like him, though her experience ended up being bittersweet. In fact, every song in Adele’s 21 album defines a point in her life.

Men and women all over the world experience a love wound, but not many people write perfect sentences for everyone to hear and relate to. At the end remember that:
