Once he felt safe, he came out of his hiding place in order to go home to safety. Unfortunately, one of the gunmen caught him and informed him he would fight in the war against ‘El Chapo’.

Meanwhile, the parents of the young girl who had disappeared, and dozens of relatives of the bar victims demanded to know what had happened to their kin.
Univision Story House
The authorities only revealed that the murders were a consequence of the war between the Sinaloa cartel and the Gulf cartel. Then, they ignored the pleas for justice made by the victims’ relatives.

Thanks to one of the officers, the girl’s parents found out that she had possibly been moved to Culiacán.

In the poppy fields of ‘Triángulo Dorado’, the workers were watched by armed men who forced them to stay focused.

‘Los Emes’ kidnapped the young man and took him to one of the corporation’s safe houses.

In ‘Triángulo Dorado’, the man in charge of the attack operation informed the prisoners that, from that moment on, they wouldn’t work for ‘Chente’ anymore; now they were a part of Sinaloa.

Martha’s mother decided not to wait for the authorities anymore, and she made arrangements to start looking for her daughter in Culiacán.
Univision Story House
Her husband begged her to stay, but she didn’t back out on her decision and asked him to keep an eye on what the authorities found while she was gone.
Univision Story House
In their safe house, ‘El Eme 16’ informed the hostages that they would now work for ‘El Cano’, with no chance of deserting the bloodthirsty group.
Univision Story House
‘El Eme 16’ forced the young man to kill one of ‘El Chapo’s hitmen, but threatened to murder him once he saw him hesitate.
Univision Story House
The young man pointed his gun at Guzmán Loera’s hitman, but didn’t dare to shoot. After his failure, ‘El Eme 16’ knocked down the Sinaloa man and promised he’d die after a long torture.
Univision Story House
Martha’s mother started to look for her daughter in clubs and bars. However, the results were disappointing.
Univision Story House
In the meantime, in the poppy fields that were taken by the army for ‘El Chapo’s organization, a couple of workers talked about how badly their new bosses treated them.
Univision Story House
They agreed to get away from the plantations; they preferred to get arrested instead of that life of mistreatment.
Univision Story House
Martha’s mother hung her daughter’s picture everywhere she could in the streets of Culiacan, hoping for any information that could help to find her.
Univision Story House
Surprisingly, two police officers approached to inform her that her daughter was being held by one of the drug lords of the area. She would need to negotiate with him.
Univision Story House
The two officers offered themselves as intermediaries, but they warned her she would need a good amount of money to free her.
Univision Story House
The news filled the woman with hope. She called her husband and asked him to sell his taxi in order to get the necessary amount of money to make the exchange. In spite of her husband’s warnings about a possible trap, she begged him to hurry.
Univision Story House
Omar, the young man kidnapped by ‘Los Emes’, was visited by another of the organization’s men, who told him he’d get another opportunity to learn how to kill.
Univision Story House
He gave him advice on murdering enemies and gave him an envelope full of cocaine to give him the courage he needed.
Univision Story House
Martha’s mother encouraged her husband to get the money they needed to rescue their daughter, and she swore she’d ask the police officers for proof that it wasn’t a trap.
Univision Story House
The military officers gave a beating to the man in charge of the poppy fields in ‘Triángulo Dorado’. He urged his wife to leave the territory as soon as possible.
Univision Story House
She couldn’t hide her fear of being caught, but she accepted the risk in order to save their lives.
Univision Story House
In the middle of the night, Martha’s mother got in the police officers’ car. They warned her it would be hard to negotiate her daughter’s freedom because she hadn’t gathered enough money. She thanked them for their help anyway.
Univision Story House
The couple of workers decided to cross the fields at night, trying to evade the soldiers. Another couple and their son went with them.
Univision Story House
Meanwhile, Omar started to feel the effects of the cocaine. In the midst of his loneliness, all he could hear was ‘El Eme 16’s orders, telling him to kill.
Univision Story House
Unfortunately for the group of workers who wanted to escape, one of the soldiers heard them moving and ordered the arrest of the marauders.
Univision Story House
One of them confronted the soldiers saying he was looking for a watch. However, the officer didn’t listen, and killed him.
Univision Story House
The other members of the group were startled, but they continued their dangerous escape attempt.
Univision Story House
In Culiacan, the two police officers took the woman to an vacant lot and asked her to give them the money; they would go talk to the drug lord.
Univision Story House
She wanted to go with them, but the agents refused and got upset.
Univision Story House
Meanwhile, a man who worked for ‘Los Emes’ told Omar that now he was ready for his new death task.
Univision Story House
At the same time, the field workers escaped from the shots of the military.
Univision Story House
With doubt in her heart, the woman demanded a proof from the two police officers. They repeated they were telling the truth and asked her to give them the money.
Univision Story House
After escaping from the military attacks, the field worker found the son of his murdered workmates and he immediately took him in his arms to save him.
Univision Story House
Martha’s mother asked the police officers if they knew her daughter’s hair color. When they couldn’t answer, she finally noticed she had fallen in a trap.
Univision Story House
She got off the car and started running away, terrified.
Univision Story House
‘El Eme 16’ gave a gun to Omar so that he could kill another man.
Univision Story House
He didn’t hesitate this time; he pressed the trigger and murdered him.
Univision Story House
After the murder, his look was lost between his first victim’s body and all the blood in his future.
Univision Story House
The two policemen ended up reaching Martha’s mother; they took away the money she had gathered.
Univision Story House
Disappointed and in anguish, he begged them for her daughter’s belongings; it was all she had left from her.
Univision Story House
Before leaving, they warned her not to give them away; they’d murder her.
Univision Story House
During a media conference, Felipe Alarcón was presenting the results of the Drug War, but Martha’s mother and the relatives of other victims interrupted him to confront him.
Univision Story House
The woman explained her daughter’s tragedy and asked him to explain why he said they had arrested only criminals and gangsters if there were students and innocent people among the victims.
Univision Story House
After her harsh words, she demanded he stopped ‘his war’. The applause of all the audience supported her.
Univision Story House
Once away from the ‘Triángulo Dorado’, the two workers and their child arrived to Mexico City in order to start a new life away from drug-trafficking.
Univision Story House
In the midst of his war against ‘El Cano’ and ‘Chente’, ‘El Chapo’ finally got married to Elba Coronado.
Univision Story House
The lord from Sinaloa was congratulated by his partners. He threw a big party to celebrate the union.
Univision Story House
Right in the middle of the party, ‘Don Sol’ called him to demand better results; he was alarmed by the people’s complaints.
Univision Story House
Conrado revealed that Felipe Alarcón was running out of patience, and that his agreement with the government could end if he didn’t end the war.
Univision Story House
While Elba waited impatiently on the dance floor, the drug lord heard the warning and declared that if war hadn’t worked, he would now try peace.
