La policía de Pembroke Pines atendió el llamado de testigos quienes dijeron ver a "un hombre con un arma”, pero se trató de una falsa alarma.

“Todos los reportes de un tiroteo no tuvieron fundamento”, escribió el cuerpo policial de esa ciudad en sus redes sociales.
Unable to confirm a shooting at present. Witnesses described a "man with a gun". At this point it is believed to be an off duty police officer responding against pedestrian traffic, to the alleged shooting.

Testigos aseguraron que vieron a "un hombre con un arma”, pero los oficiales no confirmaron la versión cuando llegaron al centro comercial ubicado en la calle 11401 y Pines Boulevard.
Las autoridades de Pembroke Pines dijeron también en su cuenta de Twitter que “se creía era un oficial fuera de servicio”. Además informaron que no hubo heridos después del supuesto incidente.
Multiple witness statements of "shots fired" have been unsubstantiated at this point. Officers are finalizing securing the mall. No injuries regarding this incident.

La policía confirmó luego de las 7:40 pm que ya era seguro estar en el centro comercial, el cual permanecerá abierto hasta las 10:00 pm.
Police have secured the Pm. Lakes Mall. It is open for business and closes at 10:00 p.m. All reports of a shooting were unsusbstantiated.
