De momento se desconocen los motivos por los cuales la policía llegó al lugar.
El Buró de Investigaciones de Georgia confirmó que investigaría el caso a petición del Departamento de Policía de Sandy Springs, algo común en los casos donde un oficial de la ley debe utilizar su arma.
