This chain of mistakes got Hispanic Mario Victoria sentenced to 20 years in prison

He was accused of sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl, but biological tests were never used to prove it. He served almost 17 years out of the 20, in six Wisconsin prisons.

Mario Victoria Vásquez is a Hispanic immigrant who had two children, a wife and worked at a family restaurant in Green Bay, Wisconsin, when he was locked up for a crime he did not commit. A chain of mistakes in the justice system put him behind bars and let loose the real criminals.
