EMDR has been scientifically proven to reduce traumatic experiences in just a few sessions, but access is still limited by cost and other factors, like language.
Abad was born in Mexico and crossed the Rio Grande at age 19. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helped him to overcome his feelings of hopelessness.
