Lucha blue: the generation of Latinx activists changing Arizona's red political landscape

On November 3, 2020, the United States saw Arizona, a Republican stronghold, turn blue in the presidential election for the first time in 24 years. The change was driven by a generation of young people who, spurred by Arizona's history of some of the most aggressive anti-immigrant policies in the country, have fought for the rights of the Latino community for a decade.
