Several members from the Mara Salvatrucha gang made her pick up extortion money, sell weapons and have sex with them. She managed to escape and survive, and took a bus fleeing her country, El Salvador, with her daughter. She arrived in Mexico and asked for asylum. This young woman is one of over 160,000 people who were forced to leave El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala because of the violence in 2016.
