Nuevos datos del Departamento de Salud muestran que East New York, Far Rockaway y Flushing, que son de mayoría afroamericana y latina, son las zonas con más muertes registradas en la ciudad. Las cifras contrastan con las de Manhattan, en donde los fallecimientos son mínimos debido a que la población tiene más facilidades de acceso a la salud gracias a su nivel de ingresos.
