También explicó que el menor, de 12 años, caminaba por la zona peatonal con su mochila cuando fue impactado por la camioneta.

NORCROSS, Georgia. Un menor gravemente herido fue transportado al hospital este martes luego de que fuera atropellado. El incidente también ha provocado el cierre de una carretera mientras se realiza la investigación.
El percance ocurrió frente al complejo The Pointe at Norcross Apartments, en el 3600 Park Colony Drive, informó el Departamento de Policía del condado de Gwinnett.
El menor fue atropellado por una camioneta SUV y el conductor se quedó en el lugar.
Los carriles hacia el sur de South Norcross Tucker Road permanecían cerrados cerca de las 8:15 am, cuando se realizaba la investigación, indicó la policía.
