Imagine having everything you need for every period within your reach. This is possible, not to mention that the materials that are needed are very affordable and common.
What you’ll need
• 1 ½ inch binder
• Dividers with tabs and pockets (1 for each class you have)
• 3 mechanical pencils
• 2 pens
• Ruled paper
• A binder pencil case

Stay on top of everything
The more organized a binder is the quicker you’ll be able to find whatever it is that you’re looking for. Binders with pockets in the front could allow for you to be more productive with your time as you’ll be able to reach in and find whatever it is that you’re looking for. Consider that there are a variety of colors to choose from; don’t be afraid to be bold!
Here’s a tip: Organize each divider depending on your class schedule. For example, if your very first class is Math and your second Social Studies ―Math would go first, then Social Studies and so on… A great advantage of having a binder with tabs is labeling. Differentiate one class from the other by naming it.

While in class
In the front of the binder (before the dividers) place a generous amount of ruled paper, just in case you need to take any notes. Additionally, having a mechanical pencil will save you the hassle of using a sharpener. There are teachers or professors who prefer for students to use a pen instead. Just for safety, have at least 2 around.
Also, most binders already include a case to store pencils and sharpeners. Carrying one will help you stay even more organized, not to mention that you’ll always have something comfortable to write with.

Extra tips
The less cluttered a binder is the more productive you’ll be. Imagine not having to look for anything as you’ll know exactly where everything is. Maintaining a binder could be super easy and quick! Assign yourself 10 minutes by the end of the week to get rid of any unuseful papers.
Follow these easy tips and tricks and notice how you’ll never loose homework while still being on top of exam dates. Overtime, you’ll see the advantages of being organized wich include: excellent time management skills and more efficiency with any tasks that are given to you.
