'Don Sol': the leader of orchestration in the series 'El Chapo'
Conrado, also known as 'Don Sol', has used information and power to manipulate others and conquer his political ambitions.
At the beginning of season one of ‘ El Chapo’, Conrado Sol started to get involved in politics and became a consultant to top officers of the ruling Mexican party.

From the start, Conrado Sol proved to be an unscrupulous man who doesn’t he sitate to use others for his own personal gain. Little by little, he was promoted to higher government positions.

In 1988, a new president arrived and ‘ Don Sol’ reached a strategic position in the Mexican government. He followed the orders of General Blanco, the man who handled all operations between the government and drug traffickers.

From that moment on, their lives got connected. When Cardinal Posadas Ocampo was murdered, ‘ Don Sol’ had to decide Guzmán Loera’s fate.

His advice for Amado and General Blanco was to blame ‘ El Chapo’ for the cardinal’s death and use crossfire as explanation. They ordered his immediate apprehension.

While they pursued ‘ El Chapo’, ‘ Don Sol’ got ready for the master stroke that would take him to the top.

As General Blanco’s assistant, ‘Don Sol’ was witness to the negotiations between drug lords and the government, but he also had to put up with the general’s insults.

He discovered that General Blanco had been accused of being a rapist several times. He took advantage of this information to take him out of his way.

A friend in the General Attorney’s Office in Mexico helped ‘Don Sol’ obtain certain secret archives that could incriminate General Blanco and destroy his political image and career.

‘Don Sol’ handed the files to a journalist asking her to write a story exposing the general’s crimes. The story would be published in the front page of one of the most important Mexican newspapers.

However, ‘Don Sol’ made a strategic move. He went to see the president of Mexico, warned him of the upcoming story and advised him to call the owner of the newspaper to avoid its publication.

The president congratulated him for his valuable warning and promoted him toan important position among his most trusted men. ‘Don Sol’ became the new emissary and coordinator of operations between the government and drug traffickers.

His first mission was to convince ‘El Chapo’ to not reveal any information he had of links between drug traffickers and the president’s in ner circle.

Guzmán Loera offered him information that could destroy one of the president’s greatest enemies. ‘Don Sol’ used his manipulation abilities on ‘El Chapo’: he promised to transfer him to another prison in exchange for this information.

When he was replaced as the emissary between the government and drug trafficking groups, General Blanco searched for the ones responsible for his fall. He confronted the journalist who wrote the story, obtained the name of his enemy, and killed her.

The general wished to recover the files incriminating him as a multiple rapist. Unfortunately for him, ‘Don Sol’ intercepted him in a car and ‘took him for a ride’.

While driving on a road, the general tried to escape his enemy, sped up and crashed against a tree. However, he couldn’t escape. ‘Don Sol’ survived the crash and murdered him.
