GREAT-GRANDFATHER MICK JAGGER BECOMES A DAD FOR THE EIGHTH TIME

Jagger becomes a father for the eighth time with the birth of his fourth son to ballerina girlfriend Melanie Hamrick in New York City.

Great-grandfather Mick Jagger has become a father for the eighth time on Thursday (December 8th) with the birth of his fourth son to ballerina girlfriend Melanie Hamrick in New York City. The Daily Mail posted that a statement was issued by Jagger's reps saying, "Melanie Hamrick and Mick Jagger's son was born today in New York and they are both delighted. Mick was at the hospital for the arrival. Mother and baby are doing well and we request that the media respect their privacy at this time.'

In 2014, Mick Jagger became great-grandfather through his daughter Jade Jagger. The baby is 24-year-old granddaughter Assisi Jackson's first child. 45-year-old Jade is Mick's second daughter and only child from first wife Bianca, whom he was married to from 1971 to 1980. Jagger has a total of seven children from four different relationships; daughter Karis, 46 is his firstborn with actress/singer Marsha Hunt; Elizabeth, 31, James, 30, Georgia, 23, and Gabriel, 18 with second wife, model Jerry Hall, and Lucas, 16, from his relationship with model and TV personality Luciana Gimenez.

That's one of the problems that's actually the parent's problem, is y'know, letting go of the child to some extent."
