Tech giants will stop selling facial recognition to police departments

Amazon, IBM, and Microsoft announced last week they will limit the use of their facial recognition software by police departments. They will stop selling the software until there are federal laws regulating its controversial use. To discuss this announcement UNews spoke to Emiliano Falcon. He's the policy counsel with the Technology for Liberty Program at the ACLU of Massachusetts.
