There is a drastic increase in early voting all over the nation. One of the things that can be seen in the early numbers is that 8.3% of Latinos who have cast ballots are new voters, compared to only 3.4% of white, non-Hispanic voters, according to Hector Sanchez Barba, executive director of Mi Familia Vota, a non-profit organization working to increase civic engagement in Latino communities.
