McAllen: funeral home rents refrigerated trailer to handle bodies

A surge in covid cases in the southern part of Texas, resulted in a flood of deaths for the month of July, causing many funeral homes to be overwhelmed. “We do about 300 funerals a year … we ended up with 126 funerals just in the month of July,” says Ron Rivera, funeral director.
