Drug companies reach last-minute settlement in historic opioid case

Three companies will pay a collective $215 million dollars immediately, while Teva Pharmaceutical will pay $20 million with $5 million of that to be paid before the end of the year. The companies have been accused in thousands of lawsuits over their role in the nation's opioid crisis. To talk about this, UNews spoke to Danielle Pelfrey Duryea, a law professor at Boston University.
