Congresswomen were denied access to a migrant detention shelter in Florida

On Monday, three Florida Democrat congresswomen were denied access to a government-run shelter for immigrant children in Homestead, Florida. Representatives Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Donna Shalala and Debbie Mucarsel-Powell asked to tour the facility after it was announced last week that the center was set to dramatically expand its capacity. Representative Wasserman Schultz spoke to UNews about the incident.
