Caridad Galan Jones, who now works as an interpreter, was imprisoned for a decade for drug possession and distribution. The time away from her first son broke their relationship. "That separation hit him, hurt him, you could say he's damaged," says Jones. In 2016, she became a mother for the third time in an unexpected way.
