Abused migrant children’s path to citizenship unlawfully denied

Thousands of migrant adolescents and children who were abused or abandoned by their parents were denied access to a government program known as "special immigrant juvenile status," or SIJS, that provides a path to citizenship. As Fabiola Galindo reports, they were turned down by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in alleged violation of the law.
