Considered the most ruthless and bloodthirsty member of the Avendaño clan, he assassinates El Chapo’s best friend, “El Rayo” Lopez, setting off a war that will define the drug trade for many years to come.

Frictions between 'El Chapo' and Amado, the lord of Juarez and one of Miguel Angel's trusted men, leader of Guadalajara Cartel, began when he decided to climb positions and earn the title of lord by transporting shipments of cocaine from Colombia to the United States in a faster way than Amado.

'El Chapo' looked for Pablo Escobar to offe rhim the chance to transport the cocaine through a tunnel hegot constructed. Amado learned about this and thought that Joaquin Guzman wouldn't make it, but he was wrong. From that moment on'El Chapo' became a threatfor him.

In the meantime, the rivalry with Avendaño brothers, leaders of Tijuana Cartel was also beginning. The Avendaño injured 'El Chapo's' pride when they refused to do business with him because he was not a lord.

Joaquin Guzman decided to transport the drug through Avedaño brothers’ territories without their permission and he succeeded, this marked which would be the first step of a long and violent rivalry between the Avendaño and Joaquin Guzman Loera.

Kindness between the Avendaño and 'El Chapo' ended when Ramon Avendaño murdered Armando Lopez, 'El Rayo', 'El Chapo's' best friend, outside of a famous club in Tijuana. 'El Rayo' was not allowed to get in because he didn’t t have an invitation, so he started a riot. Ramon Avendaño learned about the situation and left the party shooting him on the head.

'El Chapo' was not willing to step back and was ready to go all the way to take revenge of his friend's death, so he joined Heriberto 'El Güero' Palma to come up witha plan and murder the Avendaño.

After violent confrontations between 'El Chapo' and the Avendaño, Amado, the new leader of Guadalajara cartel after the arrest of Miguel Angel 'Bossof Bosses', tried to agree on a truce, which both accepted. However, Benjaminand Ramon Avendaño had a plan to intimidate 'El Chapo's people'.

The Avendaño sent an attractive hitman to seduce Guadalupe, 'El Güero's' wife. 'El Buen Mozo' beheaded her on bed and sent Guadalupe ́s head to 'El Güero' inside a cooler and then murdered her children throwing them froma bridge.

This crime triggered 'El Chapo's' fury against the Avendaño and asked Amado to take action. But he did nothing. So, 'El Chapo' looked for support among other drug traffickers.

With the help of Ismael, lord of Sinaloa territory, 'El Chapo' organized an ambush to kill his enemies at Christine club. However, they didn’t succeed and Ramon Avendaño managed to escape getting out from the window of a bathroom.

Amado decided to destroy 'El Chapo' when he realized that he was not willing to follow his rules, so he came up with a master plan to get rid of him and to comply with the government orders on eliminating Guadalajara Cardinal, Juan Jesus Posadas Ocampo for criticizing the regime and supporting rebel movements.

The objective was to meet'El Chapo' and the Cardinal at the same place (Guadalajara airport) so, the Avendaño would murder Guzmán Loera and the prelate would die in the crossfire. However, 'El Chapo' managed to escape from the attack, and Posadas Ocampo was the only one who was murdered.

After the shooting, Amado asked Joaquin to leave the business to calm things down. But he made a big mistake asking Joaquin if he was at his hotel. That's how 'El Chapo' noticed that Amado was behind the trap.

Afterthe assassination of Posadas Ocampo, Conrado Sol, 'Don Sol' would decide the fate of Guzman Loera and duringa meeting with Amado, he advised him to blame 'El Chapo' for Posadas Ocampo death. Eventually, 'ElChapo's' freedom would come to it send because of him.

After 'El Chapo's' arrest, 'Don Sol' was ordered to negotiate with him to keep secret the information he possessed related to the president's ties with drug traffickers.

Guzman Loera offered 'Don Sol' information that would destroy one of the president's greatest enemies. 'Don Sol' promised to respect his family and move him to a less rigorous prison, manipulating everything to become a powerful politician.

Thus, El Chapo began a wave of revenge and with Ismael's help, lord of Sinaloa territory, organizing an ambush at a club to kill the Avendaño. However, the plan failed and Ramon Avendaño managed to escape getting out from the window of a bathroom.

After trying to negotiate a truce with 'El Chapo', Amado decided to stay on the Avendaño's side and carry out a master plan toget rid of Joaquin Guzman Loera while complying with the government orders of eliminating Posadas Ocampo cardinal.

El Chapo managed to escape fromthe attack. However, the shooting left a lot ofdeadand injured people. This moment of the series was crucial for history. Guadalajara airport became the scene of a conspiracy between Amado and Mexican authorities to get rid of their opponents in a single blow.

After Cardinal Posadas murder, El Chapo was blamed for the assassination and became the most wanted capo. In the meantime, Conrado Sol 'Don Sol', another character with great ambitions, would commit several betrayals until climbing to the top of the power.

'Don Sol' was not pleased to be 'General Blanco's assistantand wanted more power. So, in order to get it, he carried out a dangerous plan. So, when 'Don Sol' discovered that 'General Blanco' had multiple rape accusations against women, he took the opportunity to get him out of the way.

After his removal from the governmentas the bond between drug traffickers, 'General Blanco'looked for the responsible for his fall. Then he surprisingly showed up in the department of Gabriela Saavedra, the journalist who wrote the report revealing the violation against women that he had committed in the past.

'General Blanco' threatened her with a gunand demanded her the identity of the one who had given his criminal record. Finally, Gabriela Saavedra confessed and Blanco murdered her in cold blood shooting her repeatedly.

With the name of his enemy, 'General Blanco'took the file on his criminal record and went home. However, he was not that lucky, 'Don Sol' discovered him and took him to 'go for a ride in his car.

The general was driving on the highway, but tried to escape from his enemy and crashed the car into a tree. But he didn’t succeed and'Don Sol' survived the impact who seized the opportunity to kill him.
