Pedro de Tavira is 'Rodolfillo' in 'El Chapo'

In 1985 the business of drug trafficking was controlled by Miguel Angel, 'Boss of Bosses'. The leader of Guadalajara cartel was recognized as the head of drugtrafficking in Mexico and had under his command 'lords' who ran the business in different parts of the country.

Amado, better known as 'El Señor de los Cielos', was the lord of Juarez and one of Miguel Angel's closest capos.

At that time 'El Chapo' was not included in the networks of drug trafficking. He was a subordinate in Guadalajara cartel.

Joaquin Guzman was not satisfied yet, because he was an ambitions man. His first goal was to become a lord, so he began working on a tunnel to cross a large amount of cocaine from Colombia to the United States in record time.

With his master plan, he wanted to impress the'Boss of Bosses' but that didn’t happen and Miguel Angel asked him not to get in trouble with Amado, because he was the one in charge of the cocaine business.

'El Chapo' was not going to step back so he continued transporting cocaine with out permission.

Heriberto 'El Güero' Palma was already a lord when Miguel Angel was in charge, but he always supported 'El Chapo', so they became allies soon.

Avendaño brothers were the lords of Tijuana and also followed orders from the 'Boss of Bosses'.

'El Chapo' began having trouble with the leaders of Tijuana Cartel since he tried to make deals with them, but was rejected because he was not a lord.

Things completely changed three years later, when Miguel Angelwas arrestedin 1988.

The new president of Mexico wanted to take control of drug trafficking and start designating lords.

Amado was imprisoned also, so he was off.

'General Blanco'asked Miguel Angelto meet with the lords to assign territories.

The lord Rafael Aguilar Guajardo attended to the meeting.

As well as the 'Lord' Emilio Quintero Payan.

On behalf of Avedaño brothers attended his uncle,'Don Chuy'.

Surprisingly 'El Chapo' Guzmanalso showed up, as well as 'El Güero'.

Everyone was shocked when noticed that 'General Blanco' would lead the meeting. Then he immediately let them know about the new organization.

Rafael Aguilar Guajardo kept Chihuahua and Nuevo Laredo, as well as Ciudad Juarez on behalf of Amado.

On the other hand, 'Don Ismael'was assigned Sinaloa.

Tijuana territory did not change and remained in the hands of Benjamin and Ramon Avendaño.

Nogales and Hermosillo went to Emilio Quintero Payan.

This is this territories division for the 'Lords' in 'El Chapo'.

And to the surprise of all, the general also announced a new rise. Joaquin Guzman Loera would be in charge of Tecate, and from that momenton he would bethe 'Lord' of the organization. 'El Chapo' had finally achieved what he always wanted, so he celebratedhis success.

Changes in power continued as a result of the problematic relationship between 'El Chapo' and Avendañobrothers, which became more and more violent.

The DEA chief asked 'General Blanco'to release Amado to appease 'El Chapo' and Avendaño brothers.

And 'Blanco' had to accept, because he could not stop the violence between the drug traffickers.

As soon as he obtained his freedom, Amado tried to bring together 'El Chapo' with the Avendaño, but he did not succeed.

Avendaño brothers had a plan to continue the war, an action that would end with an important code among drug traffickers, not to touch our families. They sent a hitman tomake 'El Güero's' wife fall in love with him.

'Guadalupe' was seduced and murderedbyher lover, who beheaded her and killed her children throwing them from a bridge.

'El Guero' was filled with pain and hatred when he received his wife's head inside a cooler and a video showing the murder of his children.

This crime provoked'El Chapo's' fury against. Avendaño brothers and asked Amado to take over the situation as the leaders of Tijuana cartel had violated the rules.

Without Amado's support, Joaquin Guzman decided to send his gun men to a club in Tijuana to murder the Avendaño, but his plan didn’t work.

Amado decided to get rid of 'El Chapo' when he realized that he was not willing to follow his rules.

Amado and the Mexican government agreed ongetting rid of the dangerous capo Joaquin Guzman Loera and Juan Jesus Posadas Ocampo.

They set a trap for 'El Chapo' so the Avendaño would killhim at the airport and it looked like Posadas Ocampo's death was because ofthe crossfire. The cardinal was killed in the shooting but Joaquin Guzman managed to escape safe and sound.

The struggle for power is not only on the side of drug lords. In the cabinet of the Mexican president there is a lot of ambition too.

'Don Sol'is willing to do what it takesto get much more power. That's whyhe investigated the dark past of his boss, General Blanco, and end with him.

'Don Sol'looked forthereporter who had the criminal record related with the rape of women committed by 'General Blanco's'. And when he got what he wanted, shared the document with the president to get a promotion.

With this skillful movement he ended with the General, who was removed from his position.

Hisnext move was to use 'El Chapo' as a bait,to look like a powerful politician in front of the press.

'Don Sol'made a media show to turn in'El Chapo' in Almoloya prison.

While turning in the most wanted drug traffickerin Mexico, the public official earned points for his political career.

To make surethat nothing and nobody would hinder him, 'Don Sol' killed 'General Blanco'.

When'El Chapo' goes to prison, 'Don Sol' is the one in charge and takes control of the cartels. Amado continues leadingthe bosses, but not for long. Don’t miss 'El Chapo' Season 2 of the series upcoming in September on Univision.
