The so-expected second season of the series 'El Chapo' has a premiere date already, which is Sunday, September 17th at 10 pm/9C on Univision. The dangerous capo will return to the screen to get back his freedom, starting with his revenge and becoming the most powerful capo.
No one will come out of this with clean hands
The escape of 'El Chapo', played by Marco de la O, will shock the world and bring to life the relations that the dangerous capo has with the Mexican government. Joaquin Guzman Loera will become a key player in the networks of power that will undergo changes never seen before and their old structures will start to tremble.
In season 2 no one will come out clean: prison directors, senior public officials and even presidents will be marked by drug trafficking and corruption.
The series will make its interpretation on the roots of organized crime in Mexico and on how the rulers move pieces to remain in power or remove those who hinder them.
In the first season we met 'El Chapo' since he was only a subaltern of the Guadalajara Cartel and witnessed every step he took to become a powerful capo.
His rise to power left breakups between the most important Mexican cartels. The Avendaño's contempt for Joaquin Guzman Loera when he was on the lowest level was the beginning of a non-stop war between capos.
Furthermore, 'El Chapo' had disagreements with ' El Señor de los Cielos', this marked his fall. The uncontrollable violence forced Don Sol to send 'El Chapo' behind bars thanks to the information that Amado provided.
Joaquin El Chapo Guzman has a lot of unfinished businesses, and he is determined to finish his enemies to satisfy his greatest ambition: become the most powerful drug trafficker in Mexico.
Do not miss the world premiere of the second season of the series 'El Chapo' on Sunday, September 17th at 10 pm/9C on Univision.
