Nara Almeida was a famous blogger and fashion designer with over 4.5 million followers across different social media platforms. After discovering that she had cancer she decided to let her followers in on updates and share photos of her treatments.

The 24-year-old lost her battle to cancer but still inspires her followers to fight their fight

Last year, Almeida was diagnosed with stomach cancer on August 8, 2017. The model had kept her followers updated on her status and condition. She had also posted uplifting motivational quotes and photos on her Instgram account.
Sadly, Almeida lost the battle and passed away at the age of 24 in Nove de Julho Hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Her boyfriend, Pedro Rocha stood by her side every step of the way.
"May I be strong enough to move away from everything that represses my courage, reduces my faith and stops my laughter That the light that inhabits my soul prevails against any sad day, lack of love from others and stones during the journey That I do not miss this will to move on, to learn from my mistakes and to evolve my spirit. - Amen."
Pedro had posted to social media to update her followers the terrible news.
Unfortunately Nara passed away last night, after so much fighting I wanted to have her forever, but she deserved to rest. Her death leaves a huge space in my heart but she is going to live forever inside me, she will always be my inspiration, making me see the world in a better light. I am sure she will continue conveying her strength to many people, as this was her objective. Rest in peace my love.
