The 1988 film is about Prince Akeem who left his country of Zamunda to the Big Apple in search of love. The film starred Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, Shari Headly, Vanessa Bell Calloway (who is pictured in Eddie's tweet) portrayed as character Imani Izzi.
With Hollywood on a streak of sequels and remakes of films, it wouldn't come to surprise that a new film with the comedian will be in the works.
