TV actress, Mary Tyler Moore, died at the age of 80-years-old Wednesday (Jan 25). Sources told TMZ that Moore was originally hospitalized in Connecticut and has been on a respirator for more than a week due to "a number of critical health problems." Moore was removed from her respirator on Tuesday night (Jan. 24).

Moore's representative Mara Buxbaum issued a statement saying: "Today, beloved icon, Mary Tyler Moore, passed away at the age of 80 in the company of friends and her loving husband of over 33 years, Dr. S. Robert Levine."
Moore had been battling diabetes and underwent brain surgery back in 2011.
Moore appeared on The Dick Van Dyke Show in 1961 till 1966 and spent seven seasons on her own show called The Mary Tyler Moore Show from 1970 till 1977. It was in 1986 Mary Tyler Moore was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame - starring in 10 movies.
Moore is survived by her husband Dr. S. Robert Levine. Her only son Richard was killed due to an accidental gunshot in 1980.
