According to The Hollywood Reporter, writer and producer Jeff Franklin, who created the hit show "Full House" has recently purchased the San Francisco home.

Franklin told The Hollywood Reporter: "The house came on the market and really, I just thought, I have to buy this house. I'm so sentimental about the house. It's great to have the house in our Full House family and be able to preserve it for the fans... Seriously, I love owning this house."

According to recent reports, the house went up for sale in May of 2016 with an asking price of $4.15 million. That is about the amount that Franklin paid to keep it.

Now that Franklin is the owner, he has plans of shooting the new exterior and interior shots of the house. The house was originally photographed inside and outside and was recreated as a Hollywood set.

Franklin stated: "I hope to bring the cast up to the house and have a big slumber party here so people can drive by and actually see the Tanner family living there for one whole day. That would be fun."

The four bedroom / four bathroom house is located at 1709 Broderick Street in Pacific Heights San Francisco and is about 2,500 square feet. It is unclear if Franklin will turn his new purchase into an Airbnb?
