Princess Diana's two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry will have a special installation of their beloved mother displayed in the public gardens at Kensington Palace. A statement by Kensington Palance said" It has been 20 years since our mother's death and the time is right to recognize her positive impact in the UK and around the world with a permanent statue." The statement continued on saying: "Our mother touched so many lives. We hope the statue will help all those who visit Kensington Palace to reflect on her life and legacy."

According to a media statement, a scupture has not yet been selected but the palace hopes to have it errected by the end of 2017.
