Growing Pains Actor Alan Thicke Dead At 69

The Growing Pains actor is survived by his wife and three sons.

The Canadian born TV actor that starred in the 1980's TV show Growing Pains has reportedly died at the age of 69.

TMZ reports that Alan had a heart attack while playing hockey with his 19-year-old son, Carter. Thicke was immediately taken to Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center in Burbank, CA. The actor was pronounced dead around noon today.

Local authorities state that a company that deals with human organs after someone passes away was contacted. Thicke was an organ donor.

He leaves his wife Tanya and his three sons - Robin, Brennan and Carter.
