"Baby Got Back" is a timeless classic written and recorded by Sir Mix-a-Lot from his album Mack Daddy. The song contains samples of the 1986 classic single from Channel One's song "Technicolor."

PUBLICIDAD

This song caused a lot of controversy when released for blatantly containing sexual lyrics about women buttocks. For a moment, the controversy grew so strong, that MTV banned showing the music video for awhile.

In 1992, "Baby Got Back" was the second best selling song in the United States right behind Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You."

When the song "Baby Got Back" was released, it ranked number 75 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and twelve weeks later it dropped to the number one spot. The song won a Grammy Award in 1993 for "Best Rap Solo Performance." Today the song is still popular in culture.
