Art Projects for Kids That Won’t Destroy Your Kitchen Table

When the weather isn’t cooperating we have to get creative to keep our kids from being sucked into the screentime vortex. Have a few art projects on hand to entertain them but make sure you haven’t given them the tools to destroy your kitchen table (or your entire kitchen as was the case, in my house, with the ‘footprint collage incident’ of 2014). When I choose art projects for my kids I keep the three C’s in mind. Clean–as in clean-up is a snap, creative–as in those Pinterest moms will have to look twice and cheap–as in this shouldn’t hurt my wine budget.
