"You guys are getting some special things because we want you to know that we've got your backs while you're going through this part of your lives. You're not alone. We love you guys," said Mrs. Obama.
But, if you thought these soon to be moms at Vicenza ― Italy were just going to get essentials you thought wrong! Michelle paired up with 2 organizations, dedicated to empower and help other women. Among the gifts, with love ― were beauty items from high end designers.

On her Instagram, the always so glamorous First Lady posted a picture while taking center stage and mentioned, “A surprise baby shower! Congratulations to the mothers-to-be at the military base in Vicenza, Italy.#JoiningForces."
Throughout the years that Michelle Obama has served the United States, she has dedicated her time to help children, by reinforcing healthy eating habits. Also, by being a voice and an example for the many women and girls who look up to her.
