Inside a Princess’ baptism!

Your Royal Highness Princess Charlotte is the fourth in the line to the British throne. At an intimate ceremony, inside a humble church William and Kate’s daughter was baptized. In the past, Royals opted for more opulent ways of christening their little ones.

However, this is not the case of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who took this opportunity as a way to honor late Princess Diana. At the baptism, Your Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II was present, very excited for her great grand daughters big day!

Diana was present in spirit

William and Kate are known for being extremely humble people, trying to raise their children as normal as possible. When Will’ was just a kid he lost his mom and although his father married Camilla ―known as the Duchess of Cornwall― a woman that has cared for him, no one was ever going to fill his mothers shoes.

At the special date in which Princess Charlotte was christened, Diana was honored in many ways. As an example, one of the official godparents was Laura Fellowes ―Diana’s niece. Being that before her death Lady D was the most photographer woman in the world, one of her favorite photographers Mario Testino was chosen for the portraits.

Queen Elizabeth II was notorious at this event as she’s always showed her enthusiasm and happiness towards her great granddaughter. A baby always bring so much happiness to any home or in this case palace. For instance, when William welcomed his younger brother Harry ―he wore a very similar outfit as Princes George did on his little sisters christening!

In the United States almost every woman is totally in love with the Royals. Princess Charlotte’s baptism was announced so many times and people from Great Britain who reside in the States are thrilled for this historic baptism.
