On July 18, 2001, Aaliyah made her television debut by performing the song on Live with Regis and Kelly. On July 25th she was a musical guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and was her last performance before her death.
The video to the song was directed by Dave Meyers and was filmed a various landmarks and locations in Los Angeles, CA early August 2002 right before shooting the music video to "Rock the Boat."
At the 45th Annual Grammy Awards, "More Than A Woman" was nominated for the "Best Female R&B Vocal Performance."
