Don Omar to donate proceeds from retirement performance to hurricane relief fund

The King of Reggaeton will be generously giving $300,000 in addition to proceeds from performance.

Don Omar wanted to give back to his country in a big way. In December, the Reggaeton star will be performing in Puerto Rico for his retirement tour and is hooking up his fans. Fans can go see him live for only 99¢. Omar had already planned on the sale as a Christmas gift for the fans.

Omar will be donating proceeds he makes from the three-day concert to the Hurricane Irma relief fund to give back to his people. In addition to the proceeds, Omar will donate $100,000 a day of his three day concert totaling $300,000.

On August 31st Omar posted this photo with a caption to his Instagram.

People are already starting to form a line to buy their 99 cent tickets to see the Reggaeton artist, Don Omar.

Don Omar shows much appreciation for people opening their hearts and wallets in effort to help the islands and Puerto Rico.

Don Omar will perform three days on December 15, 16, and 17th at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot
