98 Tacos: YG Has a Message For Donald Trump

Anthony A is back with another episode of 98 Tacos, this time sitting down with West Coast rapper YG. The two cover a broad range of topics including the upcoming President Election, cultural influences as well as the Vegan lifestyle. YG even has a special message for Donald Trump himself.

When asked about the upcoming election, the rapper has a message for everyone: WAKE UP. “There wasn’t really anybody that spoke up and pressed the link with some authority behind it. We’ve got a lot of supporters that are hispanics, we are the west coast…so we spoke up for our self and our people and we spoke up for them and their people.”

As for what the rapper thinks about Presidential candidate Donald Trump, you’ll need to watch the video to hear that firsthand.

Chicano and Mexican American culture have a heavy influence on YG’s music. “I mean, I talk about where I’m from and what I do and the things I’m into” says the rapper. “We share similar things from the same culture.”

Did you know YG is a Vegan? Veganism is something the rapper speaks candidly about with Anthony A.

"Alot of stuff going on...people getting cancer around me...passing, dying from cancer" says YG as his major motivation to change to a Vegan lifestyle. Vegans, in addition to being vegetarian (those who do not eat meat, fish or poultry) do not use other animal products and bi-products such as eggs, dairy, honey or anything else that derive from animals.
