Have you ever looked in the mirror only to depict everything that may be wrong with you? Throughout life, I’ve met so many women who overanalyze their personal appearance to the point that they end up not being happy with how they look. Don’t feel alone, most women have felt this way... This is normal due to many factors that surround you.
Love and embrace your imperfections

As you continue reading, I’m going to share with you why loving and accepting yourself is so important and how the things that make you self-cautious are not a big deal after all.

So relatable
At some point in your life, you had to feel bad about your appearance right after seeing a magazine cover or any type of media piece that might have influenced you. Know, that you’re not alone ―in fact there are millions of women and young girls who feel like this.
The way you may see yourself is not necessarily how others perceive you. If you get in front of a mirror and begin to depict everything that may be wrong, you may never realize how beautiful you really are. Be aware of the amount of women who are victimized by others. When a woman is truly happy with her appearance and with who she is, there is no reason as to why she would have to degrade someone else.
There is a wonderful quote by Zig Ziglar which states:
Life is an echo. What you send out comes back. What you sow, you reap. What you give, you get. What you see in others, exists in you.

Everything has a rhythm
As long as you are confident with who you are, nothing else matters. In life, you’ll understand that there is no such thing as perfection. Empowering and motivating other women will only allow for you grow spiritually, professionally, but most importantly as a person.
Here’s a very interesting video of several women who didn’t have the best comments about their appearance. Most of this could’ve been influenced by media or society’s opinion.
Steer yourself in the right direction
Never allow for hypocritical perceptions of what beauty is or of who you are to shape YOU in any way. Instead, learn to love and accept yourself despite any scrutinizing beliefs that may not even apply to you. Never expect a person who doesn’t love his or herself, to transmit love or kindness. Consider that you were created to be the best version of yourself that could ever exist.
As Maya Angelou once said:
Cause I'm a woman, phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, that's me.
If you have a daughter, teach her the importance of loving and accepting her flaws. There is no such thing as perfection; every human being has something that he or she would wish to change, but the secret hides in embracing these insecurities.
