In 'El Chapo' Season 2, Joaquin Guzman is the 'owner' of Puente Grande prison. Here are some photos of how his cell looked like.

In the series 'El Chapo' in 1995, Joaquin Guzman was transferred from Almoloya prison to a maximum security in Puente Grande, Jalisco.

While the outgoing president, the DEA's head and 'Don Sol' were choosing Benjamin and Ramon Avendaño to 'work' with them to control the cartels, 'El Chapo' bribed the prison's director with a suitcase full of money and a trip to Paris to negotiate the terms of his stay.

'El Chapo's' cell underwent a huge transformation and looked totally different from the day he arrived to Puente Grande prison. Actually, the bars were covered with sheets as curtains.

Furthermore, inside his cell was a shelf with at least twenty pairs of brand new white sport shoes.

His bed was new and wider, and the television that Graciela gave him, had been replaced by a larger, latest model.

There was also another shelf full of cookies, almonds, bags of candies and a lot of bottles of wine and whisky.

One of his cell walls was papered with the landscape of a lonely beach (maybe one of the paradisiacal beaches in Sinaloa).

Arturo and 'El Arriero' Bernal Leyda, 'El Chapo's' representatives, used to get into the prison as if it were their house, they were never checked and didn’t even have to pass their backpacks full of bills through the x-ray band. "They are visits for the lord," says one custodian to the other while seeing them arriving.

'El Chito', the new unconditional of 'El Chapo' in Puente Grande, is responsible for separating and distributing the money to bribe custodians, commanders, department heads and the prison´s director.

There was always movement in 'El Chapo's' cell. 'El Güero' and other of his unconditional men used to attend to his parties, in which there were cold beers, music and prostitutes.
