Weekday mornings are typically a hassle for everyone, especially if you were up all night studying or possibly stayed out enjoying a night with friends. Once you're up, you probably only have time to get ready and go, leaving no time for the most important meal of the day, breakfast.

Skipping out on breakfast may not sound like a biggie but think about how long your body spends without eating overnight. If you don’t break your fast within two hours of waking up, your glucose levels may drop rapidly, which isn’t very good for your health.

5. Peanut Butter waffles

Instead of eating your waffles with tons of unhealthy syrup and butter, try replace those ingredients with peanut butter instead.

4. Overnight oats

You’ve probably seen this recipe across social media. Usually photographed in shabby chic mason jar or cute tupper. Use whichever container you prefer to whip up this easy on-the-go breakfast.

Use milk, rolled oats, honey and dry fruit. Let it sit overnight and it’s ready to go. You can also heat it up if you’d like.

3. Mug scrambled egg

This is one of my personal favorites! It’s quick, easy and satisfying. Take a your favorite mug, crack an egg in it, add salt and pepper to your liking and beat away.

Cover with a napkin and cook in your microwave for one minute. Remember to add a minute for each additional egg and 30 seconds for ingredients like spinach or protein.

2. Oatmeal Microwave muffin

Don’t fret, this recipe will not give you muffin top! Combine a cup of quick oats with one egg, brown sugar or a sweetener of your preference and a handful of your favorite berries.

Add moisture to you muffin by adding a tablespoon of milk.

Finally, there is the fall appropriate, pumpkin-yogurt parfait. This is the perfect opportunity to use that can of pumpkin pie filling you have sitting in your cupboard.

In no specific order, you can layer yogurt, pumpkin pie filling and granola. And there you have it, a quick, easy and delicious breakfast.
